I'm Will Wood. Graphic Designer, Printmaker & Book Artist.

Will Wood is a graphic designer, printmaker, and book artist living and working in Thompson’s Station, Tennessee.

 

Will has recently graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design and a concentration in Book Arts and Letterpress at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). In addition to the Design, Books Arts and Letterpress core classes, he has also taken multiple printmaking classes including: Silkscreen, Intaglio, and Lithography, as well as classes in Photography.

 

In the fall of 2018, Will completed an internship at Hatch Show Print, a prestigious 140-year-old letterpress shop in Nashville that is affiliated with the Country Music Hall of Fame. It is a very competitive internship program with 100’s of applicants per year. Will also participated in the Disney College Program twice, an invaluable opportunity.

 

While on campus, Will was heavily involved in organizations within MTSU’s Department of Art and Design, including the AIGA / MTSU student group and Tulip Poplar Press, the Letterpress Club. He was on the leadership team for both organizations and holds officer positions.

 

Will has worked for the Kroger Company throughout his time at MTSU. He has been the Pricing and Payroll Associate at his local store for the past 9 years. When he is not busy with all of that, you can usually find him hanging out with friends, on a hike, spending time with family, or playing with his 5-year old Lab, Paree.
